Join us for our seventh season of unforgettable winter adventures! Owners Ed and Tasha Stielstra invite you to share a bit of sled dog magic! Yes, we are now taking reservations for winter tours, 2010-2011!! Nature's Kennel will be open for SUMMER TOURS!! Come to hold puppies, learn about racing, and visit the sled dogs this summer! We will be open June 19th through Labor Day from 11 am-4 pm. CLOSED Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Cost is $15 per family.

Fall Color Tours!
NEW!! Fall Color Tours…By Dog Team!! Join us for a trip along the colorful trails of the U.P. this fall! Our training trails run through beautiful hardwood forests that are a treat to see in the fall. Training runs take place in the mornings through out the fall. Your fall color tour will include a tour of our kennel, the opportunity to hold newborn puppies, and an introduction to sled dog training where you can see how we hook up the dogs to an ATV and even learn to harness and dog if you’d like. We’ll stop along the route for photos , coffee or hot coco and a homemade treat. Plan 2 hours for your tour. Cost: $75 per person. We can accommodate up to two people per training session. Children must be over 8 years old for this tour. Tours will run from September 10th through October 31st.
So Mush to Learn!
So Mush to Learn!!--Individualized instruction for beginners or those looking to take their training a bit further. Ed and Tasha Stielstra and the staff of Nature’s Kennel will help you get to the next level. This musher-focused, dog focused program will help you with dog “issues”, will keep your goals in mind, and will assist you with the success of your team. So, regardless of the size of your kennel or the amount of experience you have, get ready to immerse yourself into the world of mushing. Yes…please bring YOUR dogs! New for 2010-2011...Dog sledding by moonlight! Take a ride with the dogs on a moonlit winter night! These special rides will take place at Nature's Kennel during the full moon this winter. Don't worry...our guides wear headlamps to guide you through the darkness and the sled dogs LOVE to run at night. So get ready to stay up late, snuggle in the sled, and enjoy a real night adventure! NEW!! Nature’s Kennel Sled Dog Adventures & Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn invite you to Dine, Sleep and Ride with us!! Stay at beautiful Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn and take a ride with the Nature’s Kennel Iditarod sled dogs this winter. The Dine, Sleep, and Ride package for two includes a dinner certificate worth up to $50, an overnight stay, and full breakfast at Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn in Curtis and a half day dog sled ride with the Nature’s Kennel sled dogs in McMillan.
